Current and longer term residents at Keptie Pond in Arbroath

I'm still wondering if this male Goosander has a female sitting on a nest somewhere on the island
Hunting at the east end of the pond and quite tolerant of people, Grey Heron
Maybe common but never dull, this House Sparrow looking quizzically at me as I took it's photo
Jackdaw, note the distinctive blue eye
Not the first this year, a Tortoise Shell on the school hill
A male Tufted Duck having a stretch

As yet unidentified (by me) Hover Fly at Elliot

This Yellowhammer is on the roundabout at Elliot, I hope it learns quickly

A pair of Mute Swans which seem to be resident on the main pond at Elliot Reed Beds

This Pied Wagtail was sitting on the dyke at the Golf Clubhouse
