Montreathmont Forest collection............
Some of the locals at Montreathmont and Chinese Geese at Murton out of their normal enclosure, in the wild!

Corbie Knowe, Lunan Bay, Angus
A walk along Lunan Bay from Red Castle to Corbie Knowe turned up Long-tailed Ducks, around 300 Common Gulls, Oystercatchers, Curlew, Kestrel, Buzzard, 8 Sanderlings, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers and 11 Common Scoters.
The Common Scoter below looks to be a 1st winter male and the Long-tailed Duck perhaps the same, they have 3 moults a year! The Scoter was unusually close in.
