Waders, Dolphins, Pink Footed Geese and a Vole!

Red Knot and Dunlin fleeing from dogs at Montrose, one of perhaps six Dolphins feeding in the river, a Dunlin at Forfar Loch, then I suspect a very rare sight Pink Footed Geese and a Little Egret in the same photo and finally a Vole in Montreathmont Forest.

Little Egret and Red Knot at Montrose

The visiting Little Egret was close in at the Old Harbour until spooked by an angler walking by. The "Gull Cloud" in the middle of the Basin must have had thousands of gulls in it feeding on a large shoal of fish, estimates on Sunday were around 5,500 gulls!

Count them if you can.
