Blackcap, one of a few who stay in winter?

It's thought the very few Blackcaps we see in winter are continental birds which choose to move to the UK in winter and not the normal summer migrants which arrive in spring. This appears to be based on ringing returns from birds netted in winter.

This male was in my garden on 2/2/2015 but I haven't seen it again, perhaps it doesn't like sharing with the male Sparrowhawk who has returned again after a short break bothering birds elsewhere.

Male Blackcap, very wary and difficult to photograph

The cap shows a small amount of brown around the edges, maybe one of last years juvenile males?
