Wee birds mostly from Ferryden, Montrose

Nearly all in the same patch of scrub near the start of the track to Scurdie Ness Lighthouse. The light had gone but steadying the camera on a fence post helped get some photos of small birds in shady places. I've been to a few of them in my time.

Catch up after a bit of wandering near and far (for me)

Not a Goshawk as I thought, maybe hoped but a Sparrowhawk. Heard in woodland then seen hunting along a hillside in north Perthshire on a very hot and humid day while I was looking for a Whinchat which I did get eventually when I saw one while driving near Calvine!

Sparrowhawk (not butch enough for Goshawk, wings too rounded)
