Long distance Cuckoo, Tree Pipit and more from Angus

The Cuckoo in the photo was on the opposite side of Glen Prosen from me and was scared off by sheep, another later by a shepherd on a quad bike.

Click the photos for a slideshow view.

A Cuckoo calling from the roadside fence 270 metres from the other road in Glen Prosen.
Most of the Tree Pipits seemed to be on the uphill side making photos impossible.

A Common Sandpiper quite far out on the mud at Kinnordy Loch.
The usual Marsh Harrier pair now absent, this tagged male seems to have taken up ownership at Kinnordy. The tags look to have the letter Y on them.

Swallows watching a car coming along the road in Glen Prosen which scared them away before I could video them.

An unusually pink pigeon which must be from someone's collection. I could only read part of the numbered ring on its right leg. I now believe this is an Aarden type seen on Olive's roof.
