Shore Lark in Angus

Lots of photos from the past few days but I don't have time tonight so I'll post the Shore Lark photos taken today at Buddon Ness. A very wary bird feeding on the strand line around 150 metres south of the rock armour to the north of Buddon Ness. The Shore Lark had been found by Stuart Green (I was advised) last weekend and today was the first day the camp was shown as open. A bit of a shame that the sun went almost as I got there or I could have sat in the dunes longer.

Strangely the bird stopped feeding and flew a fair bit along the beach to check me out before landing out on the sand

As it worked its way back to the strand line

Despite me being nowhere near, it wasn't happy as it sprinted back up the beach
