When the going gets tough, go inland

I started off in late morning looking to see if any terns were still around the coast at Arbroath, no. It was so windy at the beach that I went to Keptie Pond to fill a short spell before it rained.

This is the first Little Grebe I've seen at Keptie Pond, and there was a second bird. I don't think they'll hang around with all of the dog walking traffic

I spent ages waiting for this Collared Dove to fly in from the island. Every time it looked like it was going to move, another walker stopped it and its mate

Jackdaws are a constant at Keptie, today some fed on the grass, others in the rowans along with lots of Blackbirds and some Song Thrushes

I went down to the West links after the tide had turned, but there were few waders and no terns, then it started to rain, as if the wind wasn't bad enough. Much like this Curlew, I also had a drip on my nose. Too much information?
