Great Egret and supporting cast

A bit vague this post, and it has to be to avoid protected species from being disturbed. I've come across a few too many over enthusiastic photographers recently who have chased off birds which would have come to them with a bit of patience. It shouldn't be a photo at any cost to the bird, and importantly to other people who may have traveled to see it.

White-tailed Eagle, photographed from cover and hundreds of metres away using 125 times optical and 1.2 digital zoom. Not a local bird and the photo isn't recent

Great Egret still at the west end of Forfar Loch, it was pretty far away from the cover I was in but a Heron chased it on to the small spit. Again with a lot of zoom and using a tripod
