Walk on the wild side (Lou Reed)

Yet another walk on the wild side at Arbroath Cliffs. Some video from this week.

Yellowhammer fit again, had a dodgy limp, click here

Sand Martin at Mariners Grave, Arbroath Cliffs

Skylark

Rock Pipit bathing in St Ninian's Well, the old Wishing Well at the start of Arbroath Cliffs. It was well maintained and fit for drinking with a steel ladle when I was a lad, but was closed most likely to save money under the guise of "health and safety"

Green-veined White seen in numbers along the cliffs

The ever curious Fulmar

A bit of a squabble over a nest site or perhaps a woman!

Kittiwakes, flushed often by a Crow

Jackdaw which didn't mind me sitting still in the long grass

My neighbours Woodpigeon leaving its nest

Still doing a bit of upgrading

Interim Post

A few found in my camera which I hadn't accidentally deleted! All in my garden and taken with the P1000.

Blackbird, the first garden fledgling this year and quite well developed, usually I see younger ones barely able to fly

In the shade under bushes and a feeder

Through my front window in the morning light

My cat scarer device was leaking a bit and the Starlings took the opportunity to feed on the soft ground

Birds, Bees and Blooms

A post wee photies, and nae rantin'

A walk from Elliot along towards Hatton, we didn't get the whole way as Olive was bored, and may have missed (again) a Blue-headed Wagtail in the bare field at Hatton. I'll be posting a second time later as these were from two days previous and I've a few from Arbroath Cliffs from Wednesday.
