If you go down to the woods today



You'll never believe your eyes, but your nose will confirm it!

Stink pits still being used in the 21st century to kill some animals so toffs can have even more animals to kill later.....

Jay - surprise




The worst photo first, of a first, a garden tick of a Jay, it didn't land though. I saw it fly past when I was observing my House Martin nest which wasn't showing much activity as I think the birds are still sitting on a clutch. Other photos from the past few days, in and around Arbroath. Just counted over 100 Starlings in my garden, that'll be the end of the food then!!

Jay, at around 2100 hrs, and flying into town, perhaps nesting at the nearby cemetery?



Common Blue Damselflies mating at Balgavies Loch, there were only a few females about but plenty males

Two Grey Herons were fishing at West Links, Arbroath. Video ruined by barking dogs which put the Herons off their hunting
