"Another day in paradise"

Not quite paradise, actually nothing like it at all at Arbroath Harbour, where 1 Guillemot was fishing, as were 2 Cormorants and the waders that normally roost at high tide on the west breakwater were hiding on the steps opposite the oil pier.
I didn't even want to go out today but my driving skills were needed for un-necessary Xmas shopping. I think I'm safe saying that, she doesn't read "our" blog!

Tune in for a Sparrowhawk

I had just got up on another gloomy December morning and opened the curtains of a window which overlooks my neighbours roof, and there it was. My Sparrowhawk looking straight at me without a care, it was so settled I was able to go and get a camera and film it. Eventually I even opened the window and it just ignored me. The photos at 8.51am are grainy but the video in UHD is an easier watch.
