Doldrums - "a state or period of stagnation"

Nothing much to say today that's not under the photos. Still just one Great Crested Grebe at the west end of Forfar Loch.

Blue Tit on the platform at Forfar Loch, someone has installed feeders on both sides and the birds are coming in

Long-tailed Tit same place, could have been a good photo without the branch in the foreground

and a Robin

Just when the bird numbers built up at the feeders, two large free-running dogs walked right under them. This will continue throughout the nesting season and many nests will fail

A wee bit of aggro between the newly arrived Lesser Black-backed Gulls on the sailing club spit

Magpie, just a bit too high up the tree

The frogs have started spawning in Montreathmont, this one thought its camouflage was working

Male Siskin

Having a go at a Coal Tit just out of shot
