East Haven - 'Stinchendehavene'

A few photos from the beach in front of the car park at East Haven when the high tide concentrated the waders on the strand line, and a narrow band of sand. Below them two from Carnoustie House Grounds where I sat at the bottom of a large beech, while Olive went off to replace her burned energy with sausages from Costa. It seems the Grey Squirrels have either been removed, or more likely have moved into gardens and their bird feeders. I suppose some people will deliberately feed them making their removal ever more difficult!

Redshanks also East Haven, at high tide with little beach left

Sanderlings feeding on the strand line

More Sanderlings on the waters edge

Synchronised feeding

There was little a disturbance which allowed for flight shots, some near...

...and some far

Starlings also feeding on the strand line
