Song birds now moulted, waders, a grebe and a greedy heron

Some of the "wee lads and lasses" at Montreathmont Forest, a Willow Warbler, Robin and Yellowhammer all with new and perfect plumage.

A Common Sandpiper, a Greenshank, a Grey Heron trying to swallow a large flounder and a Little Grebe still in breeding colours all at the Old Harbour, Montrose Basin. The Heron was later seen with a flounder shaped bulge in its neck!
