Rain drops kept fallin on their heads! And a Med Gull

An early morning visit to West Links, Arbroath, just in time to avoid the heavy rain which persisted until after lunch. I'd arrived about an hour before the shingle started to be exposed and the Black-headed Gulls, and the Mediterranean Gull especially, didn't want to come inshore. I waited and when the tide receded they quickly became much less wary, until a Granpa decided it was a good idea to lead his grandaughter out onto the roost!. Poetic justice, after taking 15 minutes to get there the heavens opened and they surely were soaked. Exit stage right for me.
