Red Grouse and Scaup

End of the day photos from a mostly frozen Keptie Pond after a brief visit to Glen Lethnot where we found two Red Kites, three Ravens, and around twelve Red Grouse near the roadside.

The Scaup was back at Keptie Pond, it seems to roost at Elliot. It flew off near dusk in that direction with four Tufted Ducks

Great Spotted Woodpecker from a few days ago when it was virtually dark in Montreathmont Forest, at 10am!
