Auchmithie Fulmars

A brief escape this afternoon to Auchmithie where a children's outing on the beach disrupted things. Should have been at school!
Two Puffins reported south of the harbour towards Castlesea Bay.

Lots of Fulmars at both sides of the harbour

Note, this bird has a metal ring

The orange marking is the old red sandstone they sit and nest on

Yes even though they're common, of mixed origins and eat all of the seed on the ground they're still birds, and look at the colours
