Yellowhammer, Blackcap, but no cushion

I sat for some time on the back doorstep thinking I'd get the Blackcap and maybe a Yellowhammer and got both before I got piles, must get a cushion! Also when spying on Virgin digging up the pavement I noticed some Early Bumblebees.

Great Crested Grebes first date, click here  at Forfar Loch

Blackcap female for its second and apparently last day in the garden. It's too blooming noisy with the Virgin Media squad cutting the pavement with a grinder

Unusual for any Yellowhammer to settle in the garden when I'm there but this one did, albeit some distance away

A different bird nearer dusk when it was lit by the low sun

No it's not a mirrored copy of the one above

Early Bumblebee Queen, at least three around the front garden especially the overgrown heather patch

Tree Sparrow

I go to the bother and hard work to build a pond and they use the bottom of an old bin!
