A couple of photos below taken in my garden.
Just shows if sparrows have a place to nest (mine and Olive's roofs) plenty to eat, and can stand the predation from the local cats and sparrowhawk, they thrive. The 62 in the photo is the highest number I've counted so far.
Today I also spotted a Great Tit looking for food in my front garden, it was as if it remembered the feeder in the apple tree which has been empty for some time.
The garden spiders are now visible around the wheelie bins a bit earlier than usual, maybe it's the wet weather.

Tentsmuir Forest
Tentsmuir Forest. A walk through the north end of Tentsmuir on a humid overcast day where we found many insects active but very few birds and no mammals to be seen. Photography was hindered by the presence of Gill Marnie's dog which scared many of the subjects before photos could be taken!
