A few pictures taken in showery conditions at Montrose Basin on the North shore at the Shellduck Hide and at Tayock. There were the usual shellduck, swans, eiders and a red breasted merganser, unfortunately all photos were into bright sun. There were a number of these very hairy caterpillars of the Garden Tiger Moth, a small tortoise shell and a few small white butterflies.
