Many of the inland waterways are frozen just now and it seemed like a good idea to return to Montrose basin where there would be a variety of wetland birds.
Unfortunately the tide was in and the birds were well dispersed throughout the basin. At least I got a half decent picture of a Little Grebe at last after it didn't see me because of the old harbour wall.
