Puffins Auchmithie, Grey Wagtails in the Brothock Burn

Puffins and Fulmars at Auchmithie. Pairs of Grey Wagtail, Dipper, Rock Pipit and two male Pied Wagtails arguing about territory on the Brothock Burn. Also an unusual Redshank visitor at M&M Spink fish merchants.

The Puffins came inshore at high tide and almost immediately a Great black-backed Gull tried to take one, but failed as the Puffins dived! The group of eight split and didn't come any nearer. Photo from clifftop.
