Montrose Basin, White-tailed Sea Eagle

Believe me, this is a White-tailed Sea Eagle released in 2009, seen today at Montrose Basin. I did get good views through my scope and better through another birders expensive scope. Shortly after this Olive watching through my scope saw the bird fly off and then appear to hunt along the Tayock Burn putting up all of the birds in that area.

Also seen were 2 Long-tailed Ducks, this female obliged and came close enough in the poor light for this photo.

Later at Lunan Bay we disturbed a Kestrel sitting next to the track leading to the beach at Red Castle.
