Sunshine on Easthaven

A sunny afternoon at Easthaven and despite many walkers on the beach at high tide the birds simply moved around them. In the first photo the Buzzard was only slightly spooked by the train seen blurred in the background as it sped past. In photo two the Pied Wagtail actually stopped moving for a second, the Redshank was feeding in the scrape and the Stonechat pair were around the car park area.

Also around was a single Grey Plover, Teal, Mallard, Turnstones, Curlew, Rock Pipit, Linnet and the most I've seen together, 58 Sanderlings. The Peregrine I'd seen hunting nearby the previous day was not found. Many of today's photos had an orange tint due to the low sun, the Grey Plover almost looked like it was a Golden plover, not complaining about the sun though.
