King Eider Drake at the Inches, Newburgh, Aberdeenshire and some of 43 Whimbrels which flew in to the Snub upstream of the road bridge over the Ythan on Monday 4/5/2015. The King Eider appeared around 1-2 hours after low tide as the tide was filling the estuary again. There were many hundreds of Terns in the distance at the closed area of the Ternery with Sandwich, Common and maybe Little Terns.
