Whimbrels moving through

The third group of Whimbrels I've seen this week, 2 at Easthaven, 3 passing Arbroath and now 4 on the beach at Montrose. Numbers of Terns increasing as waders dwindle and still some Goosander and Merganser.

Four Whimbrels at Montrose, they were scared away by dogs

Now 24 Common Terns on the beach

This Dunlin looked a bit lost

Osprey with flounder, he's already eaten the head

Still a few Red-breasted Mergansers and nine Goosanders around at Montrose Basin

A Buzzard I accidentally disturbed from a presumed nest

A Wasp chewing wood at the Old Harbour, Montrose Basin making a home for many more wasps
