Waders and Ducks

Photos from the last few days when the light and weather never stayed the same for more than a few minutes.


Black-tailed Godwits, Loch of Kinnordy. Previously seen and reported by Sheila, 14 birds


Common Sandpiper, Backwater Dam. I kinda expected to see my first one of the season but with it raining and cold it was always in doubt

Purple Sandpipers on the track to Scurdie Ness, photo taken from the track above the estuary channel. There was a flock of Redshanks nearby and a smaller flock of Turnstones


The most in any photo was 32 birds
