St Cyrus and the Arbroath Black Redstart

Photos from St Cyrus, all from the public path, and the cute Black Redstart in Arbroath. Remember many birds here are Schedule One protected and approaching them or their nests could result in them abandoning their nest and a visit to the Sheriff Court for you.

The long staying Black Redstart still at Inchcape Park, Arbroath. Photo with light behind me

Flushed by a very young child on the beach on its own! Now photographed into the failing light. Child's mother eventually turned up!!

Peregrine

Canon SX60, bird almost at the top of the cliff

Raven, couldn't get one without glare from the wing. always too far away from the public path. It is now the breeding season for many raptors and it's illegal to approach the birds. If you can't get a photo without disturbing rare birds then go to a falconry display, instead of the Sheriff Court!

Buzzard

Curlew numbers increasing around Arbroath, with 120 at Victoria Park, but this was the only one at Inchcape on Monday
