Pink-footed Geese Invasion

Huge influx of Pink-footed Geese at Montrose Basin on Wednesday 23/9/2020, most landed to the west of Maryton Ditch, reports of large numbers from elsewhere in Scotland. Meanwhile, the 9 Common Cranes which left Strathbeg, were seen over Aberdeen, are now (on Thursday) at Caerlaverock in the southwest.

Some videos I took of the Pinkies, and a Curlew Sandpiper from the sailing club at low tide, unfortunately it was flushed a bit too far out by vehicles on the beach.
