Yellow Wagtail and Brent Goose

Birds from my Webs count on Sunday at East Haven, and a colourful shield bug in my garden.

Yellow Wagtail a few hundred metres south of East haven on Sunday, found while doing my monthly Webs count

Looks very similar to one of the birds at Hatton in spring

I think this pale-bellied Brent Goose has been hanging around near Craigmill mouth for a while now

These Turnstones were flushed by walkers, they'd nowhere to go but this rock as the tide was just about covering the whole beach

A Hawthorn Shield Bug disturbed when I opened my seed bin

After coaxing it onto my hand and holding it in direct sunlight it warmed up and flew off
