Otter and large Eel, at Monikie CP

   
On a visit to Monikie Country Park to try and locate a Black-necked Grebe found on Wednesday by Graham, I stumbled on a Dog Otter bringing a very large eel ashore. It's all in the video at the link below which is the largest edit I could get that fits on Flickr in UHD. I did take a few photos, but in the conditions of cold, wind and light rain there just wasn't enough light.
I did find the Black-necked Grebe and its shown in the video below, it was disturbed by walkers and swam out into the Island Pond where filming was impossible when it started to dive for fish.
