Hybrid puzzles at Keptie Pond

After waiting for "a beer delivery" for a long time today I got out for a brief visit to Keptie Pond and Victoria Park. Keptie is still quiet, no Goosanders but two pairs of Little Grebes. Note, I've found a source where I can get my zero alcohol beer at more that two, or no bottles at a time!
Victoria Park had a large number of gulls roosting around 1530 as it seemed to get dark.

Little Grebe, one I made earlier

Keptie Pond hybrid, I believe this is a new bird, and somewhat different from previous odd ones

I have some ideas of this ducks parents, and I suspect that these hybrids aren't finding their own way to the pond

This one has Tufted Duck in it but it's bigger than a Tuftie and pushy enough to be chasing Mallard drakes around!

There were 5 Wigeon on the pond on Wednesday, still a bit wary, but by late winter if they stay around they'll be coming to the seed people bring along

Not many Coots around but I'm sure the numbers will increase as it gets colder

Mallard drake

The Mute Swans seem to have got rid of this years cygnets, I missed the chases this year

There were more than usual numbers of Black-headed Gulls and later at Victoria Park, on the rocks I'd say around 240 roosting after the tide had turned

Happy to come too close for the camera to focus

The Jackdaws are willing to feed at the steps area and only wary of the small number of  dogs allowed to get too close or chase them
