Stormy Friday (felt like Gloomy Sunday)

Poor photos, mostly taken on the P1000 in atrocious light, wind and rain. The videos don't suffer to the same degree, although some are at long distances, some handheld and others on a tripod blowing in the wind.

Dipper, Brothock      Roe Deer, Murton      Snipe      Heron      Pochards, Rescobie

Med Gull      Kittiwake      Rock Pipit      Whiting Ness      Gloomy Sunday

A Dipper on the flooded Brothock Burn in Arbroath during the latest period of heavy rain

This is a different Dipper seen with the one above, ringed at St Vigeans in 2021. It's a female and her first 3 broods all failed due to predation by a Heron

Whiting Ness, Victoria Park Arbroath

Collared Dove during a brief visit to Murton NR to see if the water levels had risen, not much at all

Snipe seen from the Stewart Hide

Long-tailed Duck at Rescobie Loch

Adult Mediterrean Gull at Victoria Park

Time to go home

Nothing new to see at Keptie Pond

The Obsidentify App decided that this hybrid at Keptie is a Mallard x Red-crested Pochard based on a number of photos, but wasn't sure on this one

No doubt about the Pintail x Mallard drake

A rare vistor to Arbroath Harbour, a Kittiwake. At first I was concerned it was injured or sick but it was seen flying around the area normally, perhaps just avoiding the weather
