I'm now into a bit of a winter routine where I don't travel far unless the weather is good, or there's a decent bird I want to see. So you can expect coastal birds, some local forest birds, and perhaps a few Fife birds if I get a good day.
The photos below were taken too late in the day, most of the videos had some light.

Mediterranean Gull adult in the centre, with Black-headed Gulls at their current roost at Victoria Park, Arbroath, Photo at around 1530 hrs when it's getting pretty gloomy, from the park pavement with the gulls on the water line at low tide, 125 zoom
Grey Heron in the large pool where the Brothock Burn enters the beach. I watch them hunting there each winter at this time, usually until the cold and darkness becomes too much. Photo from a bit earlier than the Med Gull when the sun was making the Heron look golden
I do occasionally take scenery photos, this from behind the Old Brewhouse where the Herons are
Numbers of Tree Sparrows vary throughout the day just now in both my front and back gardens, with a high count of 14. It's a fairly rare sight to see Tree Sparrows feeding in the front garden of an urban street, and despite the daily attention a male Sparrowhawk gives them!
