A look for Butterflies at Arbroath Cliffs was fruitless due to an ever increasing wind and lack of sunlight to encourage them to become active. So I sat in some shelter and photographed Guillemots, Razrobills, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Herring Gulls and a Rock Pipit.
Guillemot
Razorbill
Kittiwake, they come into land on their ledge at speed and use it to generate strong lift to rise and land at the nest
Kittiwake
Kittiwakes
Fulmar cruising along the cliff edge
Herring Gull
Rock Pipit
Red-tailed Bumblebee on the cliff path, and despite the strong wind
