Ospreys, Kingfishers, Terns, and an early Vixen

Three juvenile Ospreys were exercising over Montrose Basin on Tuesday, two Kingfishers flew from the waters edge on the Lurgies path, and a single Ruff juvenile was roosting near the Slunks. A few Common Terns were at the Sailing Club, and a single Little Egret at Rossie Spit with a Grey Heron.

Kingfishers, flushed from the path at the Lurgies as the rain started, again! I was caught out while carrying my scope and they were past me before I could react

Canada Geese, they are displacing most of the waders as the high tide approaches
