Large Red Damselflies, for comparison

On the banks of the Lunan today I found a few more Large Red Damselflies and below is a female with the wider black bands and as they don't emerge as early as the males she hasn't got as much red on the thorax yet. The male in the lower photo will get more red, the eyes will be red as will the  stripes on his thorax.
