A day on the beach/beaches

SNH make no secret of the fact they have a Peregrine pair at St Cyrus and today for a brief period both of the Peregrines and both Ravens were in the air at the same time. Unfortunately the sun only lasted about ten minutes contrary to the BBC forecast so I ended up taking shelter in the hide overlooking the North Esk where a ringed Greenshank was feeding. The Greenshank had been ringed at Montrose Basin as a juvenile last autumn and was last seen with the Bittern at the SWT Centre.
The view in the bottom photo is of Lunan Bay as seen from the Corbie Knowe end.
