RSPB Crime Report 2019

 

The report below was released on October 1st detailing Raptor Persecution throughout the UK and recorded that " In 2019, there were 85 confirmed raptor persecution incidents and one conviction, a Scottish gamekeeper. Since 1990, two-thirds of those convicted of raptor persecution related offences have been gamekeepers". 

Some of the birds targeted, which should be flourishing in Scotland and the UK are below. These photos were taken over many years on many trips to the hills, where finding the birds has become ever more a rare occasion.
