Black Redstart - Auchmithie

A quick or so I thought pre-survey before going to do one of my Corn Bunting Surveys this upcoming week. I didn't expect to see a Black Redstart, and it was very close to Auchmithie. I didn't ever get close to most of the birds below as they were wary and being moved around by walkers, dogs and cyclists. It was a bright sunny day after many gloomy cold ones after all.

Ma, Pa and the bairn. I'm thinking I might not survey this field from inside it, currently there are two of these bulls in it and many cows with calves and in season
