A new and different female Sparrowhawk, a 1st winter bird which sat on the Cotoneaster in my garden watching me filming it! It didn't fly off even when I opened the kitchen door, but as soon as I moved the camera and my head into position for a better quality result it left.
Just a pity it didn't arrive earlier in the afternoon instead of dusk which comes on very quickly. No doubt my Garden Birdwatch records will be down again on Sunday, just when they'd started to rise after the previous female that killed the pigeon.
