Sanderlings, Gulls and Waders at East Haven

On a blustery afternoon during high tide at East Haven most of the birds were feeding in and around the churn and seaweed.

There was little beach left and just enough dog walkers to keep disturbing the birds. It seems that "it's Ok to not pick up poo on the beach, the sea will wash it away" where does it go though!

These photos were taken on my DSLR in a short period of around 20 minutes. If I'd had more time I'm sure I could have sat in the dune grass and got better shots when the birds ventured closer. Mind you it wasn't too warm and the dark sky was threatening to rain.

No videos, it was too windy.
