Rock Pipit littoralis?

On another day of gales it was hard to find any birds that weren't in the undergrowth or just not there.

Just one video, Goldeneye drake at Murton, click here

Dipper, virtually the only bird I saw on Letham Grange, with its mate on the Brothock Burn. There were 12 Mallards and 6 Teal on one a boggy pond and various tits in a small group.

Robin in Kelly Den, the only other birds were a Wren and two Dippers

Purple Sandpiper at Arbroath Harbour where the wind almost blew me off my feet

Trying to sleep in a gale

Eider drake, the dredger has been keeping birds away

I'm sure this is a Scandinavian Rock Pipit (littoralis) it's the first one I've seen with a promonent supercillium

Rock Pipit

Herring Gull

Guillemot, sadly a bit battered by either the weather or a collision
