Looks like the Mandarin has become a bit more tolerant to humans, not so keen on free-running dogs though!
The presumed returning female Mandarin Duck at Keptie Pond in Arbroath (7/8/2024). It was cagey and wary when I arrived around 8pm, hiding near the island, but then swam off towards the steps on Keptie Road, the spot where people feed the mallards
