Most winters I get a female Sparrowhawk with a Feral Pigeon kill in my garden, this one is the first true adult. In the past the kill was partially eaten over two or three days before the birds were able to fly off with the carcass, not this brute, it spent around an hour eating, then flew off with the remains. It left a pile of feathers on my lawn and others under my kitchen window where it had first grabbed the Pigeon. Photos and video taken through double glazing, the hawk well aware I was there watching, and it listened to builders next door unperturbed!
