Black-tailed Godwits and Greenshanks

The Lurgies, Montrose Basin at a low neap tide, a quick trip fitted into Olive's shopping excursion. It's likely that everything was spread out around the basin as the mud and channels were exposed much longer than usual. A slow approach through the kissing gate didn't disturb the feeding Black-tailed Godwits which were still in breeding plumage, one bird beginning to show some moult.
