A Slavonian Grebe was present today at Kinnordy along with a fishing Osprey, Dunlin, Shoveler, the long staying Whooper Swan, the Marsh Harriers and a Red Kite. The Slav was too far away for photography of any quality. My first two Whitethroats of the year were found at Elliot where House Martins were collecting mud from a puddle for nest building. Puffins and Fulmars were easily found at Auchmithie later in the day.
