Signs of Spring before it got cold again

Catch up from the end of the week. I think the Whooper can't fly as it hasn't moved from the lake and is being kept off the water by a Mute Swan. It's approachable only because it won't go into the water when the Mute is around and determined I was the lesser threat.

Coots fighting for territory on Denfind at Monikie. Goldeneye and Tufted Ducks also courting.

Cormorant fishing inshore behind Gayfield Park, Arbroath

One of nine Pochard still on the North Pond at Monikie CP

This Robin was in Pitlochry, unlike the Ring-necked Drake which had temporarily moved to Loch Faskally and has now been reported back at the Cuilic near the golf course in Pitlochry where it had been since November 30th last year!!
