Craigmill and Easthaven

For the benefit of any ADBC member thinking about coming along on the trip to Easthaven and Craigmill Den. Some photos taken when I did a survey on Monday on a warm enough but kinda gloomy day.

An abridged list; 136 Curlew, 61 Goosander, 72 Oystercatcher, 23 Mallard, 25 Great Black-backed Gull, Common Gull, Black-headed Gull, 3 Grey Heron, Redshank, Dunlin, Sandwich Tern, Cormorant, Common Sandpiper,  Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, Collared Dove, Stock Dove and my first seen since early spring, a Kingfisher.


Common Sandpiper, just above the bridge in Craigmill Den. At least one other in the den and two more on the beach


Grey Wagtail, below the weir in Craigmill Den. One of at least two, perhaps three
